We can mould in a wide variety of materials including:
DMCs, Phenolics, MC, Ureas and Melamines
We bring a wealth of experience and expertise to your projects and can produce items with up to a 20” plattern and with 28” of daylight. We are happy to work with your moulds but can also provide tooling as required.
We provide Thermoset Plastic Compression Moulding and Transfer Moulding using:
Dough Moulding Compounds or Bulk Moulding Compounds (DMC or BMC), Urea Formaldehyde, Phenolics including Bakelite, Nestorite, etc, DST and SMC.
Vacuum Forming provides an economical method of forming plastic that mounded in other ways could be prohibitively expensive.
Utlising Geiss Vacuum forming machines with bespoke Mitsubishi PLC controllers Plastic Innovations is able to provide a moulding service capable of moulding sheets 2M x 1.5M in size and up to 10mm in thickness.
Typical Materials formed are ABS, HIPs, PC, HDPE, PP, PVC.

Cygnet Plastics is an experienced case producer of promotional and protective packaging. Our carry case and box range is manufactured in robust materials designed with a high strength to weight ratio, making them durable and shock proof, but still lightweight. Plastic carry cases and boxes are available at Cygnet Plastics in many different shapes, sizes and variety of colours.
Our customers come from a wide variety of industries, ranging for example from Health & Care to Automotive industries. Our most popular products are: first aid boxes and cases; various medical kits; healthcare kits; tool kits for the automotive industry; storage packaging; and other protective or promotional packaging.
Screen printing improves presentation of the final product.

Foam Conversion Service: We use die-cutters for foam conversion operations to fit out your cases/boxes to your exact specifications.
We can provide foam inserts in any thickness and in a variety of types and colours and arrange any variation of cut-outs according to your requirements. We also supply brush nylon (felt) covered foam inserts in different colours to enhance the presentation of the case or box and its contents.
Thermoforming Service: We have the capability to provide vacuum formed plastic inserts to house your products, tailor-made to your exact specifications.
These can vary from a tray with pockets or dividers in which items can be inserted into custom foam inserts with tight tolerances that will ‘grip’ the items within. Our custom foam inserts are designed specifically for your products and can be manufactured in a range of different materials and in a variety of different colours.
We offer product design services with our in house design team. Our designers and toolmakers work with you to ensure that your precise specifications are met as efficiently as possible. We also have tool trial facilities from 30 tonne – 500 tonne injection moulding machines with the on site injection moulding shop. FROM CONCEPT DESIGN TO END PRODUCT!
